Agenda: 9.1. Approval of the Agreements for the Provision of Valet Parking between the Village of Mount Prospect and FiveStar Valet to provide valet parking services for restaurants located in the Village's downtown area.
Valet service is being provided for the three Triangle Area restaurants: Mount Prospect Public House, Station 34, and The Prospect.
The Village approved:
• A 10‑week interim contract (March 26–May 31, 2026) for $9,300
• A one‑year contract (June 1, 2026–June 4, 2027) for $16,900
But the Village had already allocated $50,000 for valet service back in March 2025.
This brings the total cost to $76,200 — despite the fact that no other local municipalities pay for valet service for private establishments.
